Music Ministry
Mak(ing) a joyful noise unto the Lord” is the focus of the music ministry at First Baptist, Rockport.  Under the leadership and teaching of our professional Music Director/Organist Ruth Bowers, traditional and eclectic music is offered by volunteer Christian musicians and takes many forms:

-Vocal and instrumental soloists
-Multi-octave hand bell ringers
-Instrumental groups
-Seasonal Friday evening hymn sings
-Special Christian music presentations
-Congregational singing and celebration of holidays and special events
