First Time Visiting?

We’re excited to have you as our guest! It can be a little intimidating to walk into a new place, so here are a few tips to make it a little more comfortable for you to take the next step and join us for a worship service.

Where do I go?

Worship services are located at 4 High Street in Rockport, Mass.  We suggest getting here about 15 minutes before the service starts to find a spot to park, find a seat, and relax.  Sunday service is in the Sanctuary.

What time?

Worship Service begins at 10:00 am.

Fellowship Hour takes placing following the service (usually about 11:15 am) in Fellowship Hall or Harvey Park.

What to expect?

Rockport Baptist Church services seek to Glorify the Triune God and both challenge and encourage the congregation on a weekly basis. Our services use blended music (both traditional and contemporary) and have sermons that are biblically based. Most preaching is done exegetically going through books of the Bibles. Following each service is a fellowship hour where all are welcome to attend for fellowship, coffee, and often a bite to eat.

What about my children?

We welcome children of all ages to join us for worship! Following praise music and announcements, children and pre-school students are invited to leave the service for their respective classes. These classrooms are located on the second floor above Fellowship Hall. The nursery is located above the front entrance coming into the Sanctuary.

Anything else?

On Sundays, when the service is over, Pastor Matt would love to meet you in the Narthex (or outside in the good weather).  Don’t forget to stop by and say hello!
